About Stripe
Stripe processes card payments and, through Payment Links, Checkout and Billing, sells one-off products and subscriptions without a storefront. Fees are 2.9% plus 30 cents in the US (more internationally), with Billing and Tax as add-ons. Payouts roll daily or weekly to your bank. It is the cheapest way to get paid online and the foundation of most platforms on this site; the trade-off is that tax compliance and chargebacks are yours.
